2015 Guardian Angel Program

There is such a large discrepancy between our program fees and the operational expense of providing services to one child. Your donation can help "Fill the GAP" and will help us tutor and educate, provide technological and educational programs, and help children learn to lead healthy and productive lifestyles. Your $300 donation as a Guardian Angel can "Fill the GAP" for one child for one full year. Your valuable gift can give a child the opportunity to BE GREAT! What a wonderful gift for a child! Please help us reach our goal of 116 Guardian Angel gifts for 116 children!

#GivingTuesday, a first of its kind effort that will harness the collective power of a unique blend of partners—charities, families, businesses and individuals—to transform how people think about, talk about and participate in the giving season.  Coinciding with the Thanksgiving Holiday and the kickoff of the holiday shopping season, #GivingTuesday will inspire people to take collaborative action to improve their local communities, give back in better, smarter ways to the charities and causes they support and help create a better world. Taking place December 1, 2015 – the Tuesday after Thanksgiving – #GivingTuesday will harness the power of social media to create a national moment around the holidays dedicated to giving, similar to how Black Friday and Cyber Monday have become days that are, today, synonymous with holiday shopping. Be looking on our Facebook page for more info on #GivingTuesday as we get closer to December 1st!

Halloween Fun Night Re-Cap

Our Halloween Fun Night for the community was a huge success this year. With the help of our local Kiwanis club, Liberty Tax, IBCD and Farm Bureau we hosted one of our largest events ever! With close to 750 people attending we collected over 500 pounds of canned goods to be donated to the local Manna Center. Families came and trick-or-treated, played carnival games, got their faces painted, participated in a costume contest, coloring contest and ate free concessions.
